A Day in the (glamorous) Life

Novelist, screenwriter, essayist and blogger — writing from home, dishes be damned.

I have placed pieces in the New York Times, and various other online publications — click here to read more. I won the Best Writing Award at the 2017 Brooklyn Web Fest for my writing on the web series Under the Weather, which has shown at film festivals around the world. I have a BA from Cornell University and an MS from Stanford University, work in marketing, and live in Brooklyn, NY.

Under the Weather

Winner of the Best Writing Award at the 2017 Brooklyn Web Fest, Under the Weather has shown at short film and web fests around the world. I am proud to be co-writer on this web series about Miriam, a middle-aged Brooklyn mom, wrestling with her growing anxiety around climate change. (Sound like someone you know?) Seduced by two sexy strangers -- Rae, a young, sexy, lesbian with a DIY, off-the-grid approach, and Rick, a sexy fracking lawyer, convinced that capitalist forces will create a climate change solution -- Miriam dives into dumpsters, trades in her Prius for a bike, yet also enjoys the night of her life in Rick's SUV.
